Chocolate Fondue

Chocloate Fondue was a big trend of the 70s and it is finding popularity again. Having a chocloate fondue party is a great way to entertain your friends. It is also an easy way to entertain.

Making a chocloate fondue is simple and something you can do even if your gourmet skills are not perfect. You can never go wrong when you choose to do a chocolate fondue. A tasty chocolate fondue is practically fool proof and something everyone is sure to enjoy.

1 Prepare your chocolate fondue by heating ¾ cup of heavy cream in a saucepan. It should almost boil, but do let it actually come to a boil. Remove it form the heat and add in 12 ounces of chocolate chips. Stir the chocolate until melted. Add in 2 tablespoons of corn syrup (if you are using milk chocolate chips then omit the corn syrup). Mix well.

2 Heat the fondue pot.

3 Pour chocolate in the fondue pot. Be careful to not splash the fondue outside of the pot.

4 Prepare items to be dipped by putting them on plates with skewers for dipping on the side. With chocolate you can choose any number of things, like cookies, cake, fruits or nuts.

5 Serve your fondue.
